Mount Ida cottage

Originally built by the Wilson family (of Uncle Sam Wilson fame) this carpenter gothic cottage once stood on the land that is now Prospect park. Built on the North West corner it commanded mighty views of over 30 miles in three directions. It was demolished in the 1930's as a part of the depression era works projects.
